What supplements to take with p90x

I am going to start p90x on july 1st. i did it before for 45 days, wish i'd continued. I am going to take an ephedra based supplement to increase results, but wasn't sure what to take with it. I have muscle milk and cla pills, would casein protein be better? Also, if i took a fiber drink daily, which is best, and would it run the other supplements thru my system before they work? Just not sure what supplements would work best and fastest w/ p90x and ephedra 75mg.

As you probably know, p90x certainly works so I hope you stay consistent with it because you will see results :)

First off, make sure you combine p90x with a super clean diet. Try your best to eat whole natural foods. No junk food, no fast food, and limit your sugar intake. If it comes in a wrapper, don't eat it!

Because you're doing pretty intense cardio exercise on a regular basis with this program, combining it with a very clean diet will give you better results.

Ok, as for the supplements, Muscle Milk is a good choice. It is a protein blend so you will get fast acting proteins like whey, and slow acting proteins like casein. It also provides other important nutrients as well so it's a good choice.

Casein is absorbed in your body over a longer period of time and is usually recommended to take before bed. You can replace this with cottage cheese and just stick to your Muscle Milk supplement.

If you're looking to get lean, treat your Muscle Milk supplement as a meal or post workout shake. It does supply 300 calories per serving, therefore if you want to have a protein supplement to take between meals, try a pure protein supplement. A pure protein supplement like EAS premium protein, or Optimum 100% whey will provide you with pure whey protein and low calories and carbs.

So the Muscle Milk is good as a meal, but if you want to supplement a few small protein snacks then a pure whey protein would be better.

Again, this is not a major issue.

As for the fiber supplement, don't worry about it flushing out all your nutrients. Maintaining good fiber levels will help your digestive system work better, which can help you absorb more healthy nutrients.

Try that fiber supplement
Stick with the Muscle Milk as a meal or post workout shake
As a protein snack use a pure whey protein
