I am Amlan from india ...

For years together i was skinny thin and used to feel deeply embarrased when someone used to pass humiliating remarks on my Physique.

I started bodybuilding 9 months back and for me it has been a helluva experience. I started off focussing more on exercise than diet without effect.

Then as I started realising certain things i focussed on all 3 ,diet ,rest and exercise with leaste focus on exercise and more on diet and rest. The results i obtained after 4 months were incredible. I could see a total body transformation ,my weight changing .All i would like to say is that nothing happens overnight.

Everythings takes time and especially body .Doing cardio is senseless for people who want to build up body muscle and similarly weight training is useless for people who wanna lose weight .In fact the most important thing in gym is to know ones targets and carve out a plan specefic to attain those targets and monitor the progress closely .

I focuseed more on weight training and did swimming for cardio coz i hated running on trademills. The point to note is there are exercises specefically designed for each part ,the collar, back, chest, shoulders, abs, thighs etc.

A good body is a proper balance of all these parts in good proportion ..as


of now i dont have good legs which are the most important part ...if we dont have a good part ,we should nt be depressed and infact should work towards achieving it ...

I had the worst remarks passed at me wen i started off ,i just listened to the criticisers witha heavy heart and kept on working out ... I dont have a great physique but atleast something avergae now and am still working hard at it.

I started off with a supplement called whey protein. It worked nicely with me but the best results i had attained were with a supplement called procomplex lean muscle gainer.

I was very careful in selecting supplements and would not have anything that contained creatine and at the end i would like to say that supplements will work if only one can slog it with exercise in the gym else the supplements shall find the way out in the toilet.

Bodybuilding is basically an science ,the more we understand it the more better it is !!!!!!and yah drink loads and loads of water and sleep atleast 8-9 hours a day for adequate recovery ...remember one thing that rest ,diet and exercise is important in equal proportion ...even if one factor is missing ,body doesnt grow as it should ,sometimes it suffers !!!!!hope the info is of help ....
