How to stack Gold Standard Whey with casein whey protein
by Jonathon
(Canada)
i have gold standard whey and casein, now i know i am probably not just mixing them but how do i go about taking them? times of day ect. Answer: Here are two links on articles regarding these types of supplements: When to take whey proteinCasein protein powder reviewYou don't need to mix these together. What you should do is just use the casein protein before you go to bed. Use the whey protein in the morning and after a training session. Casein is popular for being the "bed-time" protein supplement. Your body absorbs it over a longer period of time so taking it before bed is ideal. So I would just save this supplement and only use it before bed. Your whey protein is best for right after you train, or in the morning. It is absorbed very fast so taking it right after a workout is great. Taking about 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up is also recommended. 1 and 1/2 scoops is about 30 grams. This helps with fat burning and is just a healthy way to start your day. Those are the best times to use protein supplements. If you don't train on a given day, just take it in the morning. If you want you can also take it as a snack in between meals.

Best time to take my whey protein and my creatine
by Josh Gilliam
(Franklin ky)
Here's the deal.
I hear different ways to take this stuff. I heard you can take both around the same time. I heard it's good to take one before work out and after work out.
I have a hard schedule to go by. I work full-time Monday thru Friday 2:30 til 11 and on Mondays and wednesday. My gym time is usually tuesday morning around 10 Thursday around ten Friday same round ten then on Saturday and Sunday I usually go late at night round 9 or ten.
If you don't care just give me a idea bout the right time to take the creatine and whey thanks.

Here are two useful articles on taking these two supplements:
How to use creatine
When to take whey protein
When taking creatine, and I'm assuming you mean creatine monohydrate, the best thing you can do is just remember to take it consistently. It doesn't matter so much about a specific time, just as long as you remember to take it. So I wouldn't worry to much about specifics. Just remember to mix it well and make sure it dissolves. This can take several minutes of stirring.
If you want to make it consistent you can mix your creatine in water, and then add your whey protein. So yes, you can mix them both if you want, just remember to stir the creatine first.
The best time to take whey protein is right after you train. If you were only going to take it once per day, this would be the time. So after a training session, mix your creatine and then add your whey protein. This might be the easiest considering your schedule.
On days you don't train, just consume the whey protein as a snack in between meals. This is not as important but it's always good to keep your protein levels up.
Another great time to take whey protein is in the morning. Taking about 30 grams which is about 1 and 1/2 scoops within 30 minutes of waking up is a great time to take whey.
So that's it. Take it when you wake up, and take it after you train. Mix your creatine with your whey protein if you want. If you don't want to just mix your creatine with water.

Is it safe to take Omega 3 fish oil pills with Creatine and Whey Protein?
by Arthur
(West Virginia)
I lift weights and I use to take fish oil all of the time. When I started lifting again, I was a little worried if I can take them with my creatine and whey. I guess you could say I wanted to stack with all three but wasn't sure. If i can take it with them, when should I take it?(Morning,Evening, etc.)
Answer:
You can certainly take all three together!
Fish oil is an awesome health supplement and next to a good multivitamin probably the most important for the majority of people.
Many fitness experts who are against so called 'muscle building supplements' still recommend fish oil as a supplement to keep you healthy, and to help improve your athletic performance.
So together with whey protein and creatine, fish oil is fine.
In terms of your dosage, sticking to the recommendations on the label will be fine. I personally take my fish oil in the morning with my breakfast, and with my dinner meal.
Depending on your particular supplement, you might have recommendations of 1 capsule twice per day, or something other combination. If you take it with meals you should be fine.
The most important thing is to just stay consistent. Try not to miss your daily dosage.
