Creatine Pills

Are creatine pills a scam?

I must admit, creatine pills are much more convenient.

It is much easier to swallow pills than to mix creatine into a drink.

When I first found out about creatine pills, two things came to mind.

My first thought was that convenience makes our lives better.

I love it when things regarding your health become more convenient. I've always said that consistency is the most important thing regarding building muscle.

When I see a product that might be able to make us more consistent with our supplements, I get excited.

But.... It does not always work like that.

The supplement companies know there are thousands of people just like you and me, who love it when things are easier to do.

And you can't really blame us, convenience makes our lives better. It's not that we're lazy, we just want to train smarter, right? :)

My second thought was: Are creatine capsules just a marketing scam?

The supplement companies also know how important convenience is to their customers, especially in this day and age. Everyone wants better and quicker results.

This reminds me of building a business. When it comes to business, I'm sure you would agree that "get rich quick" is just a scam. There are thousands of these programs and systems out there and none of them work.

When it comes to building muscle, your body is the same as a business. There's no such thing as a "get FIT quick system". Just like business, building muscle and getting into shape takes consistency and perseverance. It doesn't happen overnight.

When certain supplements come out, sometimes you need to put your blinders on. Supplements that claim mega fast results are similar to the get rich quick systems floating around the Internet.

Sometimes you need to ignore these types of products and just get down to business.

Creatine kre alkalyn So, are these pills just a marketing scam?...

I would have to say that no, these are not a scam.

People have used this form of creatine and have seen results.

There have been too many positive reviews, especially with Creatine Kre Alkalyn. Bodybuilders do see results with this type of creatine.

The supplement companies are not always bad.

Sure they have a business and market products with different claims that might seem outrageous, but there not always out to trick you.

Sometimes their marketing efforts might seem like they're trying to tap into your emotions, but products that don't work, usually don't last. At least on the creatine side of things.... Fat burning products are a whole different story.

So the issue with creatine pills is not whether they work. They have shown positive results.

But for the average person, when compared to powder creatine they are probably not a better choice. Remember some supplements in the pill form are just the exact same as their powder form.

Creatine monohydrate which is the white powder form of creatine has proven itself over and over. There are many studies that conclude the effectiveness of creatine monohydrate. Creatine pills have not proven to be any more effective than creatine monohydrate.

Creatine monohydrate is still the most effective form of creatine. Most people in the bodybuilding community will agree with this. Plus it is the most affordable.

The choice of taking creatine pills will really boil down to price versus convenience.

Creatine pills are more expensive than your basic creatine monohydrate. Is it worth paying more money just for the convenience of taking creatine in a pill form over a powder form? Only you can answer that.

I am perfectly content with mixing my creatine monohydrate into my post workout shake. For me that's easy.

Here's an important point:

I always say that you should choose a supplement form not only based on the quality of the product, but also based on whether you can be consistent with it. A supplement is useless if it just sits on your shelf.

If you feel that you will be much more consistent taking creatine in a pill form, that's fine. If this is you, then yes, you should take creatine pills.

Side Bar....

Can you get creatine capsules with the same low price of creatine monohydrate?

I recently read about creating your own creatine capsules. If you really want the convenience of your creatine in a pill form, but you don't want to pay the extra money, this might interest you.

A friend told me that you can get gel caps from your local drug store and fill them with creatine monohydrate. You can get close to 2 grams into each capsule. I'm not sure if the extra time needed to fill the capsules kind of defeats the whole convenience part, but I thought it was worth sharing.

When should you use creatine pills?

We've covered the fact that there's no real data showing creatine in the pill form is better for you.

We also talked about taking creatine pills based on convenience versus price. You will have to make that choice based on your own budget.

But is there a specific scenario when taking creatine pills is recommended over other forms?

Do you feel bloated when you take creatine monohydrate?

If you do, then the pills might be a better choice for you.

I would recommend you take pills if you have seen little results with other forms of creatine, or you tend to get bloated with creatine monohydrate.

The biggest side effect with creatine monohydrate is bloating. It is not a big concern, but it can be annoying for those that experience it.

Personally I don't experience any bloating, but I know people who do. If you tend to feel bloated with creatine monohydrate, then taking a pure form of creatine is a better option.

One of the best types of creatine in the pill form is CON-CRET creatine.

The advantage with CON-CRET creatine is that you only have to take small amounts. 1 serving size is 1/4 teaspoon which is equivalent to 5 to 10 grams of creatine monohydrate.

This will definitely eliminate any bloating, plus there have been a lot of positive reviews on CON-CRET creatine.
