Creatine Loading

by Waqar

I want to know that during loading phase of 4 to 5 days of CREATINE, do I have to stay at home and not train. Then after loading phase of 4 or 5 days I start work out or can I workout in loading days as well?

Answer:

Your training doesn't need to change because of the use of creatine. If you decided to do a loading phase, just train normally during that time.

Remember, most people see the best results with creatine when they're in great shape. If you wait until you reach a natural plateau before using creatine, you will probably see the best results.

Creatine usage

by Ronanki
(India)

At what time should I take creatine? I mean before or after a workout?

Answer:

There are definitely different recommendations for using creatine.

A very common way to supplement creatine is to simply add about 3 to 5 grams to your post workout shake. This is of course if you're supplementing with creatine monohydrate.

If you're taking other creatine supplements always follow the instructions on the label.

There is a very detailed article on how to use creatine here.

This is explain fully how to supplement with creatine monohydrate.

Creatine side effects with Jack3d

by Dale
(Philippines)

hi. im on ON Creatine 1 teaspoon with my post work out shake. Im also taking a pre work out (jack3d) which also has creatine as a prop blend. been on this stack for a month now. with all the talks about creatine bad for the kidneys if overdosed in the long run, do u think there is a cause for concern? thnks

Answer:

Taking additional creatine while taking Jack3d is fine.

Jack3d has received a lot of great reviews and it will probably give you a good energy boost, but it doesn't contain that much creatine per serving.

Adding creatine to a post workout shake like you're doing is thought by many bodybuilders to be a good stack.

Because you're exercising regularly, your body is using the extra creatine you're supplying it.

If you were taking lots of creatine and not exercising then it could be hard on your body. But adding about 5 grams which you're doing to your post workout shake, plus your Jack3d should be fine.

It is assumed that there's about 1.2 grams of creatine per scoop of Jack3d.

So if you take the full 3 scoops per day of Jack3d, plus 5 grams of creatine you should be fine. That's enough, you wouldn't want more than 10 grams combined per day.

This is a common bodybuilding supplement combination, but if you're worried you can always reduce the 1 teaspoon (5 grams) to half that and still see the benefits of creatine.
