Best Diet Pills... Are They Really
What You Should Be Looking For?

Searching for the best diet pills is not easy.

I have done a lot of research trying to find diet pills that work, and it has lead to many dead ends.

So many products, so many different review sites, and so many unproven claims.

New diet pills come out regularly with so called new technology but most of them are not effective.

If you're looking to buy weight loss pills, I suggest you read the article on diet pills you can get without a prescription.

It lists the top selling fat burners found online and breaks them down into different categories.

If you're set on finding a supplement today, then visit that page.

However, if you're really concerned about losing weight, you might want to reconsider your search for the best diet pills.

There are certainly various supplements that can help you lose weight, but they might not necessarily be "diet pills."

Now, I know that what I just said might not be clear, but let me try and explain without losing anymore credibility.

Weight loss is simply the end result of changing your lifestyle

What people call the best diet pills may play some role in weight loss, but many others are successful with a different approach.

Adding diet supplements to an unhealthy lifestyle is a recipe for disappointment.

It takes more than just a box of pills to lose weight.

You need a foundation of healthy nutrients, lots of exercise, and enough WANT, or motivation to reach your health and fitness goals.

Supplements do play a role in the "healthy nutrients" part, but they're usually not weight loss or diet pills.

OK, if the best diet pills aren't always the answer, what supplements do help with weight loss?

Good question.

Some of the so called best diet pills usually try and do three things:

Increase your metabolism, increase your energy levels, and decrease your appetite.

These three things should help you lose weight.

Your metabolism is the rate at which you convert food to energy. With more energy you will be more active and thus burn more calories, and finally, reducing the amount you eat is another way to lose weight.

So how can I achieve these three things without diet pills?

Now, if you just asked the above question with a bit of determination and seriousness, you are on a much better path to weight loss.

Once again, the question is: How can I increase my metabolism, have more energy, and stop overeating?...

Here are some recommendations:

Increase your metabolism

Your metabolism is set by your thyroid.

Your thyroid is found in your neck, and it releases hormones which control your rate of metabolism.

Remember your metabolism controls how well you break down the food you eat into energy. Therefore if you have an under active thyroid, you will have a slow metabolism.

An under active thyroid, or slow metabolism can lead to symptoms of thyroid problems similar to the ones we're discussing here: major fatigue, and weight gain.

There are many things you can do right now to reach normal thyroid levels without opting in for the so called "best diet pills".

Things you can do:

  • Avoid high gluten foods
  • Eat more low glycemic foods
  • Eat frequent smaller meals
  • Limit your sugar intake
  • Avoid lots of alcohol and caffeine
  • Get lots of rest
  • Consume enough protein

These are things you can do to improve the health of your thyroid, and in turn improve your rate of metabolism.

And if a specific supplement is on your mind, then it should be a multivitamin and fish oil supplement.

Many experts state that your thyroid can be under active because you're deficient in many important nutrients. It is always recommended to supplement with a high quality multivitamin and fish oil product.

These two "foundation" supplements will supply you with all the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and essential fats you need to avoid any deficiencies.

Healthy alternative to increasing your energy

Many weight loss supplements and diet pills do a good job at increasing your energy.

You might get the shakes and burn out pretty hard after a few hours, but for awhile there you're sailing :)

Most of the time these increases in energy come from stimulants like caffeine.

These stimulants do work, but there are a few downsides.

You can experience some minor side effects, and you can build up a tolerance.

Side effects can include headaches, a rapid heart rate, and nausea. These are usually minor but they are an annoyance. They are usually caused by dehydration.

Also, you might build up a tolerance.

Building a tolerance isn't good because for one the stimulants are no longer effective, and secondly you might experience withdrawal symptoms.

There are many people who would experience withdrawal symptoms if they stopped drinking coffee. They would probably get headaches and not feel very well for about a week.

Adding more of these kinds of stimulants with supplements is not always a healthy choice. There are many negative effects of caffeine you should try and avoid.

So what are some other options?

There are healthy supplement alternatives and two that I would like to mention are green tea and bee pollen.

The reasons I mention these is because I personally use them, and they're effective together. I drink a couple glasses of green tea everyday, and I mix in bee pollen granules.

Both of these supplements are healthy alternatives for increasing both your metabolism and your energy levels.

What you will find is that many of the so called best diet pills actually use green tea extracts as one of their main ingredients.

There are many green tea benefits.

Green tea is known for increasing your metabolism as well as helping to prevent cancer and reduce blood clots.

Combined with the bee pollen benefits, this healthy mixture will increase your metabolism and your energy levels in a much safer and healthier way.

This will get you on a more reliable path towards achieving weight loss.

How to stop overeating, and reduce your appetite

You can reduce your appetite by simply changing the foods you eat.

Large portions of unhealthy foods will lead to fat gain.

Eating smaller portions of low glycemic foods more often throughout the day will help you avoid feeling hungry, which leads to overeating.

You don't need to starve yourself, you simply need to spread out your meals.

High glycemic foods that spike your blood sugar levels leave you tired and hungry for more. This creates a vicious cycle which will lead to weight gain.

If you're not sure what the effect of high glycemic foods is, read the article on carbohydrates effect on the body.

Final Thoughts and Recommendations

As you can see, achieving weight loss and burning fat will take more than just a box of the best diet pills.

You really have to incorporate many different healthy foods and healthy supplements into your life, along with appropriate amounts of exercise.

If you're taken back from all this information, don't worry. There are many people who have achieved great weight loss success. You just need to know what to do, right?

Well this is where you might need some help.

If you're not sure what to eat, when to eat it, or what supplements are useful and which exercises are the best, then I suggest you take a lesson from Tom Venuto.

Tom has created the best fitness and nutrition program available called Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle.
